My Thanksgiving :)

My Thanksgiving break was AMAZING!!!!!
I had so much fun. I came to school on Monday, and did not the rest of the week. Tuesday Jayden and I went to Mid-America Science Museum and met up with a few of my friends. We had tons of fun playing with all of the displays and running around. After a few hours inside we went outside to have a snack and feed the fish. My friend Madi had a blast chasing Jayden around (thank goodness). Wednesday, my friend Will and I helped my aunt cook thanksgiving dinner, we made banana pudding and pecan pie. I spent the night at my aunts house on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night. It was fun staying at my aunts because it is very different from my house. Saturday I had fun as well. In the morning i made breakfast for my dad, jayden and myself and then me and Jayden went shopping. Jayden and I met my friend Will at Books-A-Million and Jayden played with the train set. Then my friend Ally showed up and we took jayden to his grandmothers. After that, we went back to Books-a-Million and drank coffe at Joe Muggs. My cousin molly works at joe muggs and she makes the BEST coffee. Following the coffee rampage, we went to the Brown's Tree lot because will worked there all afternoon. After he got off, him, ally, and I went to see the movie Unstopable. It was a very good movie.

Those are just some of the things that went on over my thanksgiving break, I can't remember everything.

I am very thankful to have the opportunity to do these things, because alot of people are much less fortunate than me.

Hot Springs, AR

I have lived in this wonderful city my whole life, and i have loved every minute of it. Sure, there aren't many "fun" things to do, but if you just take a look around, you will be taken aback by the beauty. I am very happy to have lived here. I really enjoy walking downtown and driving through the mountains. There are plenty of "fun" things to do in my opinion. There are neumerous parks and nature trails, the mall, all kinds of arcades, go carts,  and mini golf.

All in all, i really love living here, and i would not trade it for the world.

Jayden Joseph-Tubes

On Thursday, September7th, 2010 Jayden got tubes put in his ears. We had to get up at 4:30 a.m. and got ready to head to the hospital. I loaded Jayden in the truck, Binky, Teddy, and Blankie in tow. He was not allowed to have any fluids or food untill after the surgery, so he was not happy about that. My Dad, Jayden, and I left my house at about 5:15 and made it to National Park Medical Center at 5:25. We met Jayden's Dad, Daniel, in  the parkinglot of the outpatient center. We trotted our way into the building, got onto the elevator, and checked in at the nurses desk. They sent us to our room, and me and Jayden got settled into the bed. My dad and Daniel were sitting at the little table and chairs drinking coffee and eating snacks. The nurses came in periodically and ran many tests. After the first couple of tests, Jayden caught on to the trend, and was terrified of the nurses. At about 6:30, the anaesthesiologist came into the room and explained the procedure to me. After he left, the nurse came and got me and Jayden, and we walked back into the holding room. We sat there on the bed while nurses and the doctor filled out Jayden's paperwork. We waited for like five minutes, while the nurses whizzed around us. They told me to set him down on the bed, and they pre-occupied him while i walked away. About fifteen minutes later, Dr. Vallerie walked out into the waiting room, and told us that everything went fine and Jayden was okay. We went back into the hospital room and waited on Jayden. The nurse brought him to me, and he was very upset. I eventually got him calmed down and we were able to leave about thirty minutes later.

Now it has been 5 days, and he is doing better than ever.

My brother

Wednesday, September 15, 2010 my little brother, Jace, will be 3.
i remember when my mother told me she was pregnant, when i was 13.
my mom lives in california so i do not see her often, but i was so excited because i wanted a younger sibling so bad,
when she found out that she was pregnant, she did a trial run of living back here, in Hot Springs, so she could have the help of family and friends.
things did not work out and she moved back to california.
a few months later, my beautiful baby brother was born and all was well.
i saw him in december, when he was 3 months old. i loved him so much.
then i saw him the next june, when he was 9 months old and i couldn't keep my hands off of him. he was the apple of my eye and i couldn't wait to see him again.
now he is 3 years old. and i still love him as much.
